There are 3 types of user accounts in Josef:
- Builder
- Manager
- Admin
The main differences between the different accounts are set out in the table below:
Feature | Builder | Manager | Admin |
All features related to building and previewing bots | X | X | X |
Launching bots | X | X | |
Approving bots submitted by builders | X | ||
Access to the Organisation (admin tab) | X |
An admin can create accounts, set account permissions, reset passwords and deactivate accounts across their organisation.
Builders can only build and test bots, but they cannot launch their own bots without their bot approved by an admin. Learn about this process in our Require admin approval to launch bots article.
If you’re an admin, you can see and select the Organisation at the top right of the purple toolbar. If you can’t see it, and want to be an admin, read about that in our How to become an admin article.
