Managing bots

Admins can preview, move, copy and delete bots built by any user in their organisation.

If you’re an admin, you can see and select the Organisation at the top right of the purple toolbar. If you can’t see it, and want to be an admin, read about that here. 

Viewing and previewing bots

You can view the dashboard contents (including the data in the Activity tab) of a bot by clicking on the relevant bot name under the column titled Bot name. If the bot does not belong to you, you will only have 'view only' access. 

You can preview bots (i.e. test a bot) by pressing the purple eye icon under the column titled Preview.

Launching and unpublishing bots

You can launch or unpublish a bot by changing the status of the bot under the column titled Status.

Moving bots

Admins can move bots from one account to another. Once you move a bot, it will only appear in the account you move it to. 

1. Select the checkbox next to the bot’s name. You can search by the account holder’s email, search for the bot name, or locate it in the list.
2. Select Move to
3. Using the drop down list in the pop up, choose the name of the account that you would like to move the bot or bots to
4. Select Confirm.

You can select and move more than one bot at a time. 

Copying bots

When you copy a bot, it will appear in both the original account and the account that you copy it to. 

1. Select the checkbox next to the bot’s name. You can search by the account holder’s email, search for the bot name, or locate it in the list.
2. Select Copy to
3. Using the drop down list in the pop up, choose the name of the account that you would like to copy the bot or bots to
4. Select Confirm.

You can select and copy more than one bot at a time, but can only copy to one account at a time.

Changes made to a copied bot will not be reflected in the original bot. 

Deleting bots

When you delete a bot, it is permanently deleted from that account. 

1. Select the checkbox next to the bot’s name. You can search by the account holder’s email, search for the bot name, or locate it in the list.
2. Select Delete
3. Select Confirm.

You can select and delete multiple bots at once.
