To help you get the most out of Josef, here's some guidance on which browsers we recommend, how best to use them, alongside some troubleshooting techniques.
If it's available to you, we highly recommend using Josef on the latest version of Google Chrome. It's where the platform works best!
Otherwise, please ensure you're using the most up-to-date version of your preferred browser. This way you'll benefit from the latest release updates and security features.
If your bot is not displaying or functioning as expected, first, review the bot logic to ensure it flows as expected.
Next, remember to update your live bot to apply any changes made.
If you're unable to resolve the issue via the Dashboard, you can try troubleshooting the browser itself.
Note: Browser troubleshooting may resolve issues with your specific browser, however, other end-users will need to follow the same steps in order to benefit from any fixes identified on your end.
If you get stuck or you have any questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We'd be happy to help!
Private browsing enables users to visit websites without the browser saving information such as browsing history, cookies and other site data.
If your bots are not displaying or functioning as expected, try loading Josef in a private browser window. This will load the latest version of your bot, meaning there's little chance that cached files of previous bot versions will compromise the bot's UI (user interface).
Here's how to enable private browsing.
Clearing your cache
When you visit websites, your browser saves copies of each page to decrease overall loading times. The same goes for Josef.
If you're experiencing issues loading or interacting with your bot(s), try clearing your browser's cache. Like with private browsing, it may resolve a browser issue where cached files of previous bots prevent the bot UI from loading as expected.
Here's how to clear your browser's cache.
